For SDRs, BDRs and inside sales reps who book meetings by phone
AI sales training for SDRs
A cold call opener only gets better when you say it out loud, again and again, to someone who pushes back. Vonvo gives you that someone: cold call drills against AI prospects who raise objections, gatekeeper and voicemail practice, and a score on every practice call so you know what to fix before the next dial.
250 free credits, about 25 minutes of practice. No card needed. Recommended: Starter, $49/mo
- AI prospect
Yeah, who's this?
- You
Hi Dana, it's Sam from Northline. This is a cold call. Can I take 30 seconds to say why, and you tell me if it's worth more?
- AI prospect
I've got a meeting in five. Just send me an email.
- You
Happy to. So it's useful, what should it cover: cost, or how long setup takes?
Fictional prospect and call.
Sound familiar?
If one of these sounds like you, there is a drill for it.
I rehearse my opener, then blank when they pick up.
Running a script in your head isn't the same as saying it to someone who sounds busy. The words come out rushed, or not at all.
What to practice: Run the opener on its own until it sounds like you, not like the script.
Too many of my calls end at 'just send me an email.'
The brush-off is polite, so it's easy to accept. Then the meeting dies in the inbox.
What to practice: Drill one question that turns the email into a reason to keep talking.
I can't get past the front desk.
Gatekeepers screen out vague callers. Sound like a vendor and you are sent to voicemail, or nowhere.
What to practice: Gatekeeper drills, with the reason for your call in one sentence.
My manager has no time to roleplay with me.
A team lead with a full team can't run a roleplay with everyone every day, so most practice happens on live prospects.
What to practice: Practice on your own schedule, and bring scored calls to your 1:1.
What you practice in Vonvo
What the product does today, and the plan each part starts on. Every plan includes everything in the plans before it.
- Every plan
Cold call drills
Drills for the opener, the gatekeeper and the voicemail, so each part of the call gets its own repetitions.
Cold call practice - Every plan
The brush-offs you hear every day
Voice roleplay with AI buyer personas who raise objections: not interested, send me an email, call me back next quarter.
Objection handling - Every plan
A score on every practice call
Each practice call is scored on an NEPQ-based scorecard, so you can compare one attempt with the next instead of guessing.
Call analysis - Starter and up
Your own prospects and objections
The scenario builder lets you write the personas, objections and goals from your own territory.
Your first week
Five short sessions, each on a single part of the call, so you know exactly what you are fixing. The whole week fits in the free trial.
The week in credits
- Practice time
- 24 min, 240 credits
- Practice rate
- 10 credits a minute
The whole week fits in the free trial's 250 credits (about 25 minutes).
Day 1
The opener
Run the cold call drill and stop after the first exchange. Repeat until you can say why you are calling in one breath.
4 min, 40 creditsOpener examplesDay 2
The gatekeeper
Practice getting put through: who you are, who you need, and a reason that isn't a pitch.

"Just send me an email"
Read the responses, pick one, then say it to an AI buyer until it stops sounding rehearsed.

"I'm not interested"
Same drill, harder objection. Aim for one question that gets them talking, not a rebuttal.

The whole call
Run a full call from opener to booked meeting, read the scorecard, then redo the part that scored lowest.

The plan we'd pick: Starter
Our pick for SDRs, and why. Prices are public, per workspace and billed monthly.
- Cold call drills, objection practice and call scoring are on every plan, including the free trial, so start there.
- Starter adds the scenario builder, so you can practice your actual prospects and the objections from your territory.
- 2,500 credits a month is about 250 practice minutes, enough for a 10-minute session every working day.
When another plan fits better
- Growth ($399/mo) if your whole SDR team practices in one workspace and your manager wants team management and a team library.
- Professional ($199/mo) if you also want video roleplay, or live prompts during Microsoft Teams calls.

Questions from SDRs
Is Vonvo SDR training or a practice tool?
A practice tool. Your onboarding teaches you what to say; Vonvo is where you practice saying it, with AI prospects who push back and a score after every call. It doesn't replace your manager.
Can I practice cold calls for my own industry?
Yes. On Starter and up, the scenario builder lets you write your own personas, objections and goals. The free cold call scripts by industry are a good place to start the wording.
How are practice calls scored?
On an NEPQ-based scorecard. SPIN, MEDDIC and BANT are available as frameworks to guide a practice session.
Does it connect to my dialer or CRM?
No. Vonvo has no native CRM sync yet, and practice calls happen in Vonvo with an AI prospect, not on your dialer.
Can I practice on my phone?
Vonvo works in mobile browsers. There is no native app.
How much practice does the free trial include?
250 credits. Practice uses 10 credits a minute, so that is about 25 minutes, enough for the five-day plan on this page.
Training for other roles
Practice the call before you dial it
Start with 250 free credits, about 25 minutes of practice, no card needed. Run the five-day plan, then decide whether you need Starter.
